
Our Curriculum -
SPNS follows a developmentally oriented curriculum in which children learn through play. Children develop in an atmosphere of encouragement and support while having the freedom to choose from a variety of activities each school day.
The curriculum incorporates the following:

• Reading readiness
• Dramatic play
• Outdoor play
• Language concepts
• Pre-kindergarten skills (numbers, patterns, spatial awareness, pre-writing, phonemic awareness)

For the Children -

For the Parents -
SPNS provides parents the opportunity to see their child in a nursery school environment staffed by exceptional, loving teachers. You will see and work with other children of the same age as your own and become aware of common behavior and learning patterns associated with that age group.
SPNS will help parents gain:
• Techniques for working with preschool children
• Knowledge of child growth and development
• Skills for selecting and using age appropriate materials and books
• Insight into the feelings and thoughts of their child
• Increased objectivity about their own child
• Increased awareness of the role of education and creativity in developing a balanced, healthy and satisfying family life
