Witchy Walkabout

Saratoga Parent Nursery School conducts many fundraising activities throughout the school year, in order to supplement tuition. These activities are planned and executed by a team of member parents who are devoted to helping the school achieve its financial goals. Engaging in fundraising opportunities allows our school to keep tuition low and the quality of education high.

Saratoga Parent Nursery School conducts two major fundraising events over the course of the school year: the Witchy Walkabout and the annual Silent Auction.

The Witchy Walkabout is an event sponsored by the Saratoga Village Development Council for children to trick-or-treat at the doors of local merchants. SPNS has been invited to participate for the past three years. We sponsor a mini-carnival in Saratoga Village with games, a petting zoo, pony rides and a magic show. We have enjoyed working with the Saratoga Village on this event. It is a fun, festive and safe way for the entire family to celebrate!

Our
Silent Auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year. This year’s Silent Auction will be held in the spring. The Fundraising Team works toward this event all year to make it a success. We invite businesses to become patrons of our school, by actively soliciting donations of merchandise or gift certificates. These tax-deductible donations will be sold at our Silent Auction, the proceeds of which directly benefit our school. Businesses can also participate by purchasing advertising space in our Silent Auction catalog. At SPNS, we encourage our members to choose from our patron list for their business needs.
